Something I made in school, probably 1982. It's what's called a "collage", which means that you have to cut out images from magazines and create something with it. I remember enjoying making it and I still enjoy watching it. I kept it in a folder on my attic. I scanned it and resized it to 300x300 and then used -stepx 3 -stepy 3 Back then I got a 9.5 at 10 for this creation, probably comparable to an "A" :)

It didn't work out the way I planned it. I took a pic, resized it to 100x100, pasted it into Paint on a 300x300 image size, copied it into irfanview and saved it as .tga-file. Then I used "ignorewhite" and faked my screen resolution (800x600) to speed it all up and ended up with this....

is there a trick to as where to postion the window if you dont have the original resolution of 1280x800?

No, it should just auto detect your display. The 1280x1024 restraint is no longer relevant, and is only mentioned in the outdated readme in the zip file. Read the newer readme instead (dated 4/5/09).

An example image. I selected the line tool, thickened the pen a little, and then ran: -image alda.tga -image2 horse.tga -crossfade .7 -jigfactor 5 -stepx 2 -stepy 3 -uselines

I can't get it to work! Where do I have to unzip the files to and how do I get the command line find the app? If someone has the patience to explain it to some dummy like me....

he shunt, i had the same problem at first. figured it out one second ago. go to "start" -> "run" and type in: cmd a command box pops up, now change the directory to your drawringapp folder. do so with: cd C:\desktop\drawringapp (or whereever you unzipped it) now you can type in: drawringsapp -image saturn.tga works for me, except my screen resolution is far too low (1024x768 max). dont now if its the easiest way. im a newbie too 8)
