I found a new job. No more nights popping pills to stay awake. No more lot lizards banging on my door. No more horrible food with bat droppings and roach eggs. No more arguing with 'stupid' people on the cb. No more logs. No more chicken coops. Damn. Im gonna miss all that.

I'm with a local company driving big trucks and operating hi-lo. 6am to 2:30pm.

Hey guys, You ever spend a long time driving a truck then try to drive a car with an automatic tranny? You cant find the clutch or the break knob. You also forget you can see out the back window.

I have a 14 y.o. son and also a girlfreind, so yeah, kinda nice to have a job like this. Not the greatest paying but I had to weigh the options.

...OTR could pay 2K @week and still not worth it, in my opinion...

I cant do it anymore, especially night driving. I nearly fucked up a few times. I've seen too many big trucks in the ditch in my short OTR experience.
