I remember being 8 years old in 1978 standing in line at the 'Disco Kid' in Southgate, Mi and we couldn't get in because Gene Simmons showed up to promote the new Kiss song 'I was made for lovin' you baby'.
Weird coincidence: I was listening to that song just today. I seem to remember that single was produced by Michael Jackson. Definitely one of their finer hits along with "God Gave Rock n'Roll 2 U."
