my tooth no. 6, lower left side. i've been to the dentist 3 times in the last month and a half, monday was my latest visit, i'm going there next week again. i had a cavity under a filling. my dentist told me the tooth is halfway dead, so she drilled out most of it and now she's "cleaning the roots" with instruments that look like a cross between a screw and a needle, sticking them deep into the roots, it hurts like heavy fucking metal hell, i can feel those screws down in the centre my jaw. she showed me the x ray, she said we need to go deeper. fuck it, this is torture. right now it still hurts, tomorrow i have en exam in school and i haven't studied anything yet. i say FUCK! ok, i feel a little better now.

hell....this is gruesome..don't the use local anesthesia?????? brave man!!!

i wanted it, but she said we can't, because then she wouldn't find out, if it's been cleaned properly. well i guess i'll have to just trust her for now, but i'm thinking about goint to different dentist next time.

you mean the truth is thats she gets aroused by seeing grown men cry?

might be. i didn't cry yet, only displayed obvious signs of pain. like sinking deeper and deeper into the dentists' chair. maybe thats why shes still working on me.

i had this done like 3 or 4 times on the same tooth, and they told me the same thing - no anaesthetics :/
