i tried to read up on a.a, but it seems like i didnt have enough coffee yet to make sense of sentences like "The waves are of the form: cos(2jpx)cos(2kpy) where j and k are arbitrary non-negative integers. (In fact, there are also waves involving the sine, but for the purpose of this discussion, the cosine will suffice; see Fourier transform for technical details.)" ...and yes, i will try to emulate the mac-a.a on my pc _manually_ one of these days. when i have like 12 hours of boredom to fill.
