in college, we used to call this thing 'no-friend-o' because it would suck you in.. never leave the damned dorm room.. WE'd play 'real punch-out'... one guy would sit playing punch-out. the rest of us would surround him and hit him everytime he got hit ont he screen...

I remember the original Apple IIE version of wolfenstain.. ti was the first game I ever played on a pc that had digitized sound... I have NO IDEA what the heck the characters were saying, but they were saying something. Wolfenstain3D was quite impressive when it came out.. But when Doom came out,.. I was like 'HOLY SHIT!!!'
