ha, i actually have one of the ones we drew when we were kids! i gotta find that thing, somewhere in the basement. . .
I just walked through there this morning, it looked exactly like the day i left it, bad plaster work, bad wallpaper, smell of ten thousand cigarettes - it looked like it did at the height of the party scene happening there in the late 90's, trashed. The landlord seems quite interested in me buying the house though, I bet after an official inspection/assessment it would be valued at $5000, or condemned :)

So today I got a text message from a friend that read '10eastern is for rent!', at first glance I thought he meant about the website here and wondered if there was some problem with billing (and panicked, checked the site and everything was fine) and then realized he actually meant that the house itself is up for rent again. . . It's strange, I lived there for eight or so years and built a soundproof room in the basement to play music, so much nostalgia. . what's really strange is that I'm halfway considering moving in there again. I'm not sure that I could actually do it, but it's nice thinking about moving into 10 Eastern again :)
