just got back from a long bike trip with a friend - was 73 miles one way, from grand rapids to whitehall michigan. it took nine hours! with several breaks. the black stuff swooping in was the unseen force that attacked my right knee, making the last 25-30 miles almost unbearable, but i'm proud to say i/we made it. we arrived at my friends cottage off lake michigan right at sunset and immediately went into the water, was a perfect end
