Me and a colleague from work were sketching around some years ago and we came to this creature. I can't recall how we came to the "diori" but the "staar" comes from "staart" which means tail in Dutch.
I found the stack of sketches when I was cleaning up here
And now I remember where the "diori" came from; we bastardized the words for "ears" because the creature has ears.
