You have enough time, but don't waste it. At this point it is critical that you perform an act before you jump in the water. You are also missing two objects. They are visible in the drawings below, but remember some of the drawings (or the wording) is presented in a way to trick or deceive. One item is even shown twice.

Looks like it's about 3 feet deep, or waist high. You should be able to step into the water without any problems. And don't forget, the lantern has been burning this whole time. You had enough fuel for about 2 hours. You've had your lantern lit for 20 minutes so far. What is your next move?

Yes! You can check the water depth by lowering the mop down with the rope. 1 Gold star for Zorkiii!

Oh Boy!, Looks like we've run into a little problem. How are you going to climb down the ladder with the lantern in one hand and the mop in the other?

Put it in your pocket?

Humm.....Rat poison and floor wax. Don't see too much use for them? Now are we ready to see how deep the water is?

One of the film containers was filled with two different size nails, and the other had this piece of paper. The paper looks like it was torn from some type of letter. Do you want to keep the paper? Let,s look at the bottles now.

How do you know there is film inside?

Inside the box there is four jars of nails, and two film cotainers. Would you like to go read the bottle labels now?

You put the rope near the doorway and then grab the nail box. Let's see what's inside.

Entering the closet, you notice a box of nails and some rope. Would you like to look at the nails, or just read the bottle labels?

Yes, let's go look at the labels on the bottles first. There may be something inside we could use.

BOO! Were you scared? Aw, come on, you know you were. Now you opened the janitors closet and take a look around. Is there anything inside you could use?

We'll look inside, but don't say you weren't warned!

Looking at the door you sense a feeling of deja vu. Something tells you not to look inside. You reach for the key but hesitate.....do you really want to look inside?

Great job! Returning to the top, you place the lantern down, and approach the brite green door. Smacking the side of your head, you wonder why you didn't see that before. Please wait for next panel(PWFNP).

Lighting the lantern with one of your last matches, you slowly make your way down the ladder reaching underground. There appears to be 4 tunnels leading to a junction that contains water. You need to find out how deep the water is before you continue. What are you going to do now? Note; There are still objects in the hall that have not been investigated."Think Green"
