That would work if you had wire cutters.

The torch light is getting dim and will only last 3 more minutes. You might want to eat the ketchup.....looks like you might be stuck here for some time if you don't act fast. What now?

You see the Girlie magazine and go to grab it but it's stuck to the bottom of the drawer.....YUCK!! You proceed to put the keys and screwdriver in your pockets and the other items into the box. You just used another 1.5 minutes and still haven't fixed the lights or lantern. What do you want to do now? Sit down and read The Trentonian from 1974, read the tags on the keys or eat the ketchup pack? Your choice.

Using your master key, you open the drawer. There are 5 minutes remaining until you must use the remaining fuel for another torch. The journey will be long and sometimes dark, so lighting another torch could spell doom. You can take as many things as you can that will fit in your pockets. You may also carry 2 large or heavy objects by hand during your escape.....hopefully.(hint;the little red thing is a pencil sharpener)

If you bang on a door and nobody is around to hear it does it make a sound? It appears useless to get out the way you came in. If you can only repair the lights to see what lies beyond the darkened hallway leading out of the room. You still have 6 minutes of torch light remaining. Time to search the desk drawer. (please wait for next panel)

Out of frustration and hope you bang the crowbar on the door. (please wait to respond)

That just might work. Let's go give it a try. 2 more minutes have passed before you grab the crowbar and go to the green door.

Wedging the crowbar into the door jam you hear the door cracking. You apply more force and then it slips. Looks like the door is made of heavy steel and you ripped off a piece of the veneer. That little stunt just cost you another minute of torch light. You need to find another way out or bang on the door with the crowbar to see if someone can hear you outside. It's your choice.

Not only is the conduit broken but the wires have a piece cut out. You must search for another way. 4 minutes have passed since you lit your torch.

Your quick thinking earned you an extra 15 minutes of light. Use your time wisely and you will succeed. What will your next move be?

You panick, eyes scanning the room. You see the box and tear off a piece, igniting it with the end of the match. You need to do better than that if you want to escape. NOTE: Visitors are welcome to give sugestions of what to do next. Look at all the drawings for clues. The object is simply to get out of the building alive.

Moving quickly, you fill the lantern as the match dies. The thought of things going too easily crosses your mind. You stike another match, then lift the lantern from the table.....your heart sinks.....not good.....not good at all. What are you going to do now?

As the match goes out you reach for the lantern. Shaking it you hear the hollow empty sound...then a mental flash...the can...yes the can. You just used another match...be afraid my friend.

Not only was the door at the top of the stairway locked but the light switch was still on.....yet no light. Even with the just the glow of the match the deep bloody scratches could be seen on the back of the door. There is no time to waste....you must get out....NOW!!!

As the door slams shut there is nothing but darkness. Can you find your way out? Or will they find you???
